By following the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) and the Holy Qur&#8217;an, we can all strive to become the best possible versions of ourselves \u2013 and charity is at the heart of Allah\u2019s (SWT) wishes for us.<\/p><p><strong>Although we are all equal in the eyes of Our Creator, sadly, poverty, conflict, and disaster have created a divide between us and our less fortunate brothers and sisters<\/strong>. As a result, it is imperative that we remember that all our wealth and material possessions are not our own \u2013 they belong to Allah (SWT) for He has blessed us with them, yet we cannot take them with us in the Hereafter. Therefore, it is our duty to share the rewards of our own good fortune not only with our loved ones, but also with our brothers and sisters both in our local community and in the global Ummah. data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If the\u00a0Qurbani donation\u00a0is a goat or sheep, this counts as a single share, meaning that an individual must purchase the animal solely in its entirety to\u00a0perform their Qurbani. On the other hand, a camel, cow, bull, or buffalo\u00a0has seven shares. This means that up to seven people can contribute towards the cost of the animal and receive their share in accordance with Qurbani meat distribution rules.\u00a0<\/p><p>The animal can be male or female but should have no injuries, disabilities, or broken bones (including its horns). It should be sacrificed either immediately after Eid-ul-Adha prayers or as close to this time as possible.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cdcd2ef elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"cdcd2ef\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE QURBANI MEAT?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c3dc1aa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c3dc1aa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The meat of a\u00a0sacrificed animal should be divided into three parts:<\/p><ul><li>One part for the person who supplied the animal<\/li><li>One part to be shared out among their family, friends or neighbours<\/li><li>One part to be given to\u00a0those in need<\/li><\/ul><p>Furthermore, there are no rules stating that those who receive meat from a Qurbani sacrifice must follow the Muslim faith.\u00a0<\/p><p><em>\u201cAllah (SWT) does not forbid you to deal justly and kindly with those who fought not against you on account of religion and did not drive you out of your homes. Verily, Allah (SWT) loves those who deal with equity.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><strong><em>&#8211; al-Mumtahinah 60:8\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><em>\u201cThe animal offerings are among the rites decreed by GOD for your own good. You shall mention God\u2019s name on them while they are standing in line. Once they are offered for sacrifice, you shall eat therefrom and feed the poor and the needy. This is why we subdued them for you, that you may show your appreciation.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><strong><em>&#8211; Qu&#8217;ran 22:36<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p>The skin of a Qurbani animal can be kept and
